Catwalk Junkie is looking for an experienced Technical Stylist to join our design team at our cozy office in Amsterdam-Noord.
Are you creative, do you have a passion for fashion and an eye for detail? Do you have a lot of knowledge of different product groups such as blouses, knitwear and jeans and do you know how to translate a technical drawing into a style sheet? Then we are looking for you.
What are you going to do?
As a Technical Stylist at Catwalk Junkie you are responsible for developing the technical sheets up to and including the items in the store. You will work in our in-house design studio in Amsterdam Noord and develop four collections per year together with the design and purchasing department.
You create all technical files such as style sheets, size specs & bill of materials. You check and comment on the samples throughout the process for fit, color and quality. And you are the one who approves the prints, fabrics and lab dips.
What do we ask?
- At least 5 years of relevant work experience as a Technical Stylist;
- You have a passion for fashion and follow the latest trends in product development;
- You have knowledge of fabrics, size specs, patterns and different product groups;
- You are proficient in Illustrator and Microsoft Office;
- You speak and write fluent Dutch and English;
- You don't have a 9 to 5 mentality.

As a sales stylist, you are the face of our store. You inspire customers and provide a warm, personal shopping experience. In this role, you regularly work independently in the store — which means you get the space to really make it your place.
You enjoy working independently, keeping the store tidy and connecting with the neighbourhood. You are easy to chat with and make customers feel welcome, whether they come to shop specifically or just drop in.
