We love our planet. And we only have one.

As a brand, we value sustainability and recognize that it is an ongoing development. We work with certified factories and have built long-lasting and strong relationships with our production teams around the world. In this way we ensure that everyone involved in the production process of our clothing is treated fairly, safely and with respect.

We emphasize longevity and strive to create versatile key-pieces that offer quality, so we encourage you to keep your versatile Catwalk Junkie items for a long time — to style them in new ways every season.

Below you will find the environmentally friendly and ethical steps we have taken so far:

We strive to create versatile key pieces that offer quality and longevity. In this way, garments remain in good condition for longer and we prevent an overkill of unnecessary shopping sessions. To be able to wear your favorites forever, we recommend that you carefully follow the washing and care instructions for each item of clothing on our website.

We only manufacture in factories with valid certification and have built long-standing and close relationships with our production teams around the world to ensure that everyone involved in making our garments is treated fairly, safely and with respect.

Catwalk Junkie works with GOTS, IC2 or BCI certified cotton. This cotton is grown using methods and materials that have a low impact on the environment and the people who work on the land.

GOTS-certified organic cotton is softer, free of toxic chemicals and therefore gentler on the skin. Even if you don't suffer from allergies or sensitivities.

EcoVero viscose is the most environmentally friendly viscose available. The fibers are made from FSC and PEFC certified wood pulp. The EcoVero production process is less harmful to the environment, because less energy and water is used than with conventional viscose.

Waste is given a new life with both recycled polyester and recycled polyamide. Recycled polyester, for example, is made from plastic bottles or fishing nets that would otherwise end up in landfills.

This recycled cellulose fiber is made from wood pulp and is comparable to viscose and rayon. We mainly use NAIA acetate to give tops, skirts and dresses a slightly shiny finish.

Our 100% genuine leather is vegetable tanned, which means no harmful chemicals, such as chromium, are used during the tanning process.

Currently, more than 50% of our polybags are biodegradable.

From the second half of 2023, all our garments will be packed in biodegradable polybags, made from compostable materials. After use, throw the bag in the compost bin and it will completely decompose within a year.
